Telehealth is safe and easy | Oral NAD+ Precursor

Niagen® (NR)

NIAGEN® is nicotinamide riboside chloride (NR), a vitamin B3-related dietary ingredient the body can use to make nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). Human studies show that oral NR can raise blood NAD+ metabolites; specific healthy-aging outcomes remain under study.

Clinical Specifications

Clear, evidence-aware information without anti-aging promises.

The Ingredient

Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride:

An orally consumed NAD+ precursor related to vitamin B3. It is a dietary ingredient, not an FDA-approved drug for treating or preventing disease.

NAD+ Precursor

Biological Role:

NAD+ participates in cellular energy metabolism and many enzyme reactions. Raising a blood biomarker does not establish a clinical anti-aging effect.

Oral Use

Follow the Label:

Use only the product serving instructions and any individualized guidance provided by your clinician. Do not combine high-dose supplements without review.

*NIAGEN® (nicotinamide riboside chloride) is a dietary ingredient. Dietary supplements are not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Product information is educational and is not a promise of anti-aging or therapeutic results.

The Evidence for Nicotinamide Riboside

What Human Studies Show

Randomized controlled studies have found that oral nicotinamide riboside can increase NAD+ and related metabolites and was generally well tolerated over the studied periods. These studies do not establish that NR reverses aging or treats disease. See PubMed (2019) and PubMed (2018).

Responsible Expectations

Clinical outcomes remain an active area of research. Niagen (NR) should not be described as proven to prevent, reverse, or treat aging, fatigue, cognitive decline, metabolic disease, or other medical conditions.

Evidence & Sources

Evidence note: Human randomized studies show that oral nicotinamide riboside (NR) can increase blood NAD+ and related metabolites and has been generally well tolerated over the studied periods. These biomarker findings do not establish that NR prevents, treats, or reverses aging or any disease. FDA’s GRAS response for nicotinamide riboside chloride concerns specified food uses; it is not FDA drug approval or proof of clinical efficacy.

How It Works

Our Secure 3-Step Process

1

Complete Your Wellness Intake
